Some recent work

Norwich Fringe

On 21st March 2021 at 20:15 Kiara will be sharing a new work in progress as part of the Not the End event within the digital Norwich Fringe Festival, alongside three other local artists. Her piece is inspired by the ancient footprints found after a storm in 2013 at Happisburgh beach. The solo show will explore pathways, East Anglia, and memory.

Edith - in the Beginning

Picture
Working with The National Trust at Sutton Hoo

Kiara played Edith Pretty in Stuff of Dreams Theatre Company's 'Edith - in the Beginning', in association with the National Trust. The performances took place just outside Tranmer House, the former home of Edith Pretty. The performance was part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the discovery of the Great Ship burial at Sutton Hoo and the re-opening of the site after major changes, including a brand new exhibition centre.

Sir John Mills Theatre

The final performance was in conjunction with Ipswich Museum and Eastern Angles at the Sir John Mills Theatre.

A Christmas Carol

Kiara spent a happy Christmas season at Biddy's Tearooms in Norwich and Aylsham playing all the characters, except Scrooge and Marley, in A Christmas Carol. Keeper's Daughter's family version of the classic tale was performed by just two actors and was heartily endorsed by the EDP.

Rebellious Sisterhood

With Broad Horizons Theatre Co, Karen Forbe's Rebellious Sisterhood toured the UK and Channel Islands to mark the centenary of women gaining the vote in 1918 (1919 in Jersey). In the multi-rolling play about the struggles of the suffrage movement Kiara played (among others) Grace Roe and Sylvia Pankhurst.
